Built to specification, inside a regulated environment
There is no packaged product here. Every solution is specified with your team, designed for review, and built to integrate with the systems you already run.
Capability, not a product catalogue
Institutions are not short of software vendors. What is harder to find is a partner who can specify carefully and deliver inside your constraints.
Most systems in a financial institution cannot be replaced, only worked with. That shapes everything: what can be integrated, what has to be reconciled, which team signs off, and how much of the design has to be documented before a line of code is written.
We work the way institutional delivery actually works. Requirements are gathered from the people accountable for the process, the design is written down so IT security and audit can review it, and delivery is phased against milestones your procurement process can hold us to.
Where institutional work usually lands
Scope is set per institution. These are the areas where requirements most often sit.
Core system integration
Working alongside the core banking system rather than replacing it.
Digital lending workflows
Application, appraisal, approval and disbursement as one tracked flow.
KYC and onboarding
Customer onboarding with documentation, verification and audit trail.
Reporting and reconciliation
Regulatory and management reporting from a single reconciled source.
Internal operations tooling
Branch and back-office tools for work that spreadsheets currently carry.
This capability list is placeholder content from the PRD. It commits BIT Garage to what it will build and must be replaced with the real list before launch.
Discuss, Design, Develop — documented at each gate
The same three steps as every engagement, with the documentation an institution needs to review and approve them.
Discuss
Requirements gathering inside a regulated context: who signs off, which regulation constrains the design, what the auditors will ask for, and which systems cannot be touched.
What you get
- Requirement specification
- Constraint and compliance register
- Stakeholder and sign-off map
Design
Solution design documented to the level procurement and IT security need to review it, with integration points and data flows stated explicitly.
What you get
- Solution and integration design
- Data-handling and access model
- Phased delivery plan with milestones
Develop
Build, test with your team, deploy into your environment, and hand over with documentation. UAT and change control follow your institution’s process, not ours.
What you get
- UAT-tested release
- Deployment in your environment
- Documentation and handover pack
Designed for the review it will receive
Posture is agreed per institution and documented before build. Nothing here is a certification claim.
- Role-based access control, with permissions mapped to your existing approval hierarchy.
- Full audit trail on records that carry financial or customer consequence.
- Data residency and retention configured to your policy and to regulatory requirement.
- Encryption in transit and at rest, with key handling documented for review.
- Support for your penetration testing and IT security review before go-live.
It runs where your policy says it runs
On-premise
Deployed inside your data centre, on hardware and networks your team controls.
Private cloud
Your cloud tenancy, your policies, our deployment and handover.
Hybrid
Sensitive data held internally, supporting services hosted where it makes sense.
SamriddhiFI
An operations platform built for financial institutions and their day-to-day workflows. Currently in beta.
Confirm whether SamriddhiFI belongs to this practice. If it does, this section becomes proof rather than a cross-link, and the page’s positioning strengthens.
Start with a requirements conversation
No slides. We would rather understand the constraint you are working inside.
Where this practice works, and where it doesn’t
A good fit when
- You have a requirement no packaged system covers.
- Internal stakeholders can commit time to specification.
- Integration with existing systems is expected, not avoided.
- Delivery has to survive audit and IT security review.
Not the right fit when
- You need a licensed core banking system.
- The requirement is still an idea nobody owns internally.
- Procurement needs a fixed price before scope exists.
- You need certification claims we cannot evidence.
Asked in procurement
No. There is no pre-packaged product, and we would rather say that plainly than sell you a demo you cannot use. Everything in this practice is built to the institution’s requirement.
Yes. Requirement specifications, solution design documents, milestone-based delivery plans and sign-off gates are part of how these engagements run.
Design documentation is produced for review before build, and we support your penetration testing and security assessment before go-live. Audit trails are designed in, not added afterwards.
That is assessed during requirements gathering, because the answer depends on what your core exposes. Where integration is not possible, we say so before contracts rather than after.
The institution owns the data, and ownership of the source code is agreed at contract. Deployment can sit entirely inside your environment.
References are shared under NDA where clients have agreed to act as one. This page is deliberately about capability and rigour rather than claims we cannot evidence.
